WHO ARE ROCKWEAR?
Rockwear is a young and
dynamic clothing label
"stirring the pot" of active wear fashions since 1991. In a world
that tends to focus on cutting corners, Rockwear is uniquely
quality driven,
focussing on cutting edge designs in the best quality fabrics
available.
Not only do they look and feel good, all of our products are
designed to
withstand the rigours of the hardest workout.
No garment is see through. Linings are fitted in all lighter garments. Rockwear's diamond gussets are incorporated in all the standard tights. Adam Rock, throughout the 1990’s, performed his brand of fun, colourful and energetic aerobics for fitness enthusiasts across Australia and around the world. In 1991 he teamed up with his partner Stephanie Astill to form Rockwear International. What began as a hobby soon burst into a thriving fashion business.
Wherever Adam went on tour… the Rockwear went also.
In
the early years most of the sales were actually
overseas; mainly Asia and the UK. But as
Rockwear’s reputation for unique designs
and exceptional quality grew, so did the
sales and the business. By the late 1990’s
Rockwear was reaching out to many throughout
Australia and the world via it’s regular
designer catalogues, its’ online ordering
website, distributors, agents, and wholesalers.
Rockwear now has 7 stores in Australia and
a factory outlet at Rockwear headquarters
on the Gold Coast
Whilst Adam is no longer taking aerobics classes, Rockwear is. Rockwear is significantly the choice of instructors who live in their fitness clothing and want longevity and a unique fashion look all in one.
Factory / Manufacturing
Almost all Rockwear is proudly manufactured
in Australia.
Whilst the
pressures to manufacturer
offshore continue to grow, it is the support and
feedback of you, our
customers that keeps us working hard to bring you
quality designer activewear
garments at an affordable price. We believe in order
to achieve this we
must maintain control of what we produce. Australian
manufacturing goes
a long way towards helping us achieve the quality we
require.
We have our factory on the beautiful Gold Coast in
Queensland Australia.
If you are visiting the Gold Coast on holidays, why
not pop in and see
what we do. We have a fantastic direct to the public
factory outlet that
is perhaps not quite as pretty as our stores but
well worth the visit.
